Yotam Shlezinger is the second artist in the residency program of the Grosso Modo collective. His inspiration and musical approach are based on the aesthetic of "LoFi", a fractured art that manipulates sound to explore the organic and fragmented nature of audio. Yotam uses distortion and manipulation to influence the visual and auditory information through the use of tape loops.

The sound installation at the "Grosso Modo" gallery consists of field recordings from various places in the city of Tel Aviv, places that are connected to his 'childhood city'. By manipulating and converting the field recordings to tape loops, the resulting soundscapes will enable introspection.
